1 Corinthians 4:1-13 || Rev. Michael Hands

August 16, 2026
What do good leaders actually look like in the Church? What should expect of them? Rev Michael Hands guides us through 1 Corinthians 4, continuing Paul's theme of addressing how the church in Corinth thought about their leaders and how that applies to leaders in the church today. Paul uses the imagery of the triumph parades of Roman conquerors to describe the position of apostles and leaders. The imagery is not one of power and success, underlining the central point of this week's message - leaders are not called to be successful, they are called to be faithful: - Faithful in purpose - Faithful in humility - Faithful in motivation Follow along for our next installment of our 1 Corinthians series - 1 Corinthians 5:1-13.
